Raised by a single mother in Miami, Florida, Michael enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduating from high school. In 1995, Michael relocated to Arizona following his service in the Marine Corps, where he served as a combat veteran with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion 7th Marines in the Persian Gulf. After completing college, he was licensed and ordained as a pastor for two Southern Baptist churches.
For almost a decade, Michael held the position of Executive Educational Advisor for MCB Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. He later transitioned to become the Legislative Director for ABATE of Arizona, the state's most prominent motorcycle rights organization. Throughout the years, Michael has spearheaded several non-profit organizations and launched numerous prosperous business ventures. He also conducts leadership seminars nationwide for non-profit executives.
Michael's achievements have been recognized through many awards, including the Motorcycle Rider's Foundation's State Legislative Award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and the Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation's Communication & Dedication Award in 2018. Michael attained his undergraduate degree from Cal-Poly in San Luis Obispo and his graduate degree in Theology from Golden Gate Seminary. He also earned his J.D. from ASU and completed courses and received certificates in project management, grassroots advocacy, community mobilization, and grassroots leadership.
Sam Curry

Sam Curry was born and raised in the East Valley. Shortly after graduating from Basha High School in 2007, he departed for Marine Corps boot camp. He spent 2 years in 1st Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team then another 5 with 1st Battalion 1st Marine Regiment deploying a total of four times. He was medically retired in 2015 due to wounds received in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Upon leaving the Marine Corps, he worked various trades before utilizing the GI Bill to attend Mesa Community College, receiving an Associate Degree in General Business. From there, he attended WP Carey at Arizona State University, graduating in 2022 with a Supply Chain Management major.
After working for nearly two years as a scheduling engineer for a large general contractor in Arizona, Sam has decided to pursue a career working with issues he is passionate about, such as veteran’s rights and individual liberties. While on this new path, he plans to pursue his law degree.

William Cleveland

Will is EPIC Policy Group's Southern Arizona boots on the ground. His focus is on transportation and infrastructure issues across Tucson and the surrounding areas. He has lobbied for motorcycle issues in Texas, Virginia and on Capitol Hill in addition to Arizona.
Will is also another Marine on staff with EPIC Policy.

She is a prolific writer relating to legislative application and has been recognized with numerous awards from the cannabis industry for her advocacy work.
